Happy New Year

I wish you all a happy, healthy and successful New Year 2005.

The horrible catastrophe in Asia makes it hard to go back to everyday life. But that's exactly what we should do, as long as we do everything possible to help the affected regions. We also shouldn't stop to see that even those days of darkness are always filled with the bright light of humanity and relief. Many people died on December 26th 2004 but many heroes were born that day.

Furthermore we should stop immediately to compare countries on how much money they give to bring the affected regions back to normality. Who takes the lead tomorrow? Who is willing to give 1 billion? That's not important at all except you want to use this event to denounce certain countries. The people in Asia died not to help certain people to fight against states they always hated. Actually, if you really want to keep that discussion, be ready too loose.

Take care,
Marcus
